RemeCare “M1 approved” by mHealthBelgium

RemeCare Oncology was one of the first four mHealth apps included in the validation pyramid of mHealthBelgium. This approval means that this health application RemeCare Oncology has taken a first step towards a potential reimbursement when using this mobile application to guide cancer patients with their medication intake and monitor possible side effects during their chemotherapy.

This first step means that the government acknowledges that Remedus does have a CE certificate for the software as a medical device and that Remedus complies with the applicable GDPR legislation. The decision on a final reimbursement will follow in a further phase as you can read here.
